Laura received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC in 2006. Originally from North Bend, Oregon, she graduated in 2004 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science while competing in the PAC 12, as a rower on the crew team for the Beavers. Being a life-long athlete herself, Laura understands the stresses and rewards of physical activity and is passionate about using movement and evidence based treatments in her care plans.
Laura specializes in both orthopedics and pediatrics. She has taken coursework through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy for diagnoses and treatment of the spine, and draws on a wide variety of manual therapy techniques to treat joint and soft tissue restrictions throughout the body. She enjoys integrating the breath, mind, and body practices into sessions with clients to maintain a good balance for clients.
Laura opened Windmill Physio to help individuals build their musculoskeletal health and wellness. To help you get out of pain and stay out of pain. Whether it’s through intense group exercise classes, or traditional clinical sessions, Windmill Physio seeks to create a holistic program to keep your body doing what you love.
When she’s not in the clinic, Laura loves exploring all the beauty the gorge has to offer!
